Maestro Jonathan Santos


Born on September 2, 1982, he began his musical studies at the age of 12 in the church of the Christian Congregation in Brazil, later in 1996 he took private violin lessons with Moisés Cerqueira, in 1999 and 2002 he took lessons with Luciano Martins, when he developed his technique and way of studying his instrument. Auto data in Cello and Viola arc, began teaching for beginners in 1999. In 2003 he participated in the masterclass with the violinist Oyvind Bjoura of Norway, by the Brazilian Mozarteum, in 2009 he joined the Adventist University Campus Engenheiro Coelho, graduating in 2011. He participated in several courses among them: conducting, composition, arrangement, orchestration, violin pedagogy, group string practice, musicalization, among others in the musical area. His teachers were Jetro Meira de Oliveira, Samuel Krähenbühl, Lineu Soares, José Ademar Teixeira Rocha, Graziela Pagotto Oliveira, Ellen B. Stencel, Ailem Lima, Harley Black, Gerson Arrais, Vandir Schaffer, Parcival Módolo, Viviane Beineke, Enny Parejo, among others. He participated in several musical groups, as well as projects in various places and cities, playing with important names of the musical environment such as Renato Teixeira, Allan Vilches, Maestro Lutero Rodrigues,, Zvonimir Hacko (USA), Richard Kogima (Switzerland), among several others. He is a composer, arranger and creator of the Methodology for the teaching of strings in the JCSS group, conceived and formatted over 15 years of studies, research and observations, he is one of the few creators of material made in the area of strings in Brazil.
