Leandro Cardoso is a Brazilian conductor and arranger living in the United States. He is the Assistant Conductor of the Kansas University Symphony Orchestra, where he works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and also pursues the Master's Degree in Music (Orchestral Conducting). He is the founder and titular conductor of the Athos Chamber Orchestra and also develops a stable work as an arranger. Maestro Cardoso has arranged music for an array of ensembles, including chamber groups as string quartets, brass quintets, woodwind quintets, saxophone, and trombone ensembles, as well as for full orchestra. His arrangements have been played by several professional, college, and amateur groups and orchestras all around the world. Cardoso writes from easy music for fun to challenge repertoire for professional ensembles.
