This popular ballade is scored for 4-part classical guitar ensemble. Apart from the original melody and harmony of the composition being very much honoured, Guitar 2 plays nice counter melodies to create a fresh rendition of the piece. There is also an interesting section where guitar 3 and 4 plays the melody in the lower register of the guitar whilst guitar 1 and 2 accompanies using luscious tremolos and pizzicatos.
