The Lonely Man Theme, composed by Joe Harnell for the 1978 TV series entitled The Incredible Hulk, is the ending theme. This is my personal piano arrangement, whose transcription aims to be as faithful as possible and is based on the actual end credits soundtrack of the TV show. The music is meant to be played slowly and painfully, as it reflects the main character’s shattered soul and deep grief over witnessing his wife dying, helplessly. Guilt gnaws away at him. The tragedy leaves the man broken, grief-stricken, emotionally torn apart and wandering alone from town to town. Researching ways to become stronger, an experiment goes wrong and the man develops his monstrous avatar notoriously known as ‘the Hulk’.
