This is my personal piano solo arrangement of Mad World by Gary Jules & Michael Andrews for the film Donnie Darko (2001). The song was written by Roland Orzabal and originally performed by British band Tears for Fears (1982). Although the only "tricky" parts are the chorus where you must play double-note eighth notes with the right hand as well as the second verse, which might also be a little bit of a challenge for your left hand (be ready to make a few chord leaps!), the song is fairly easy to play, with steady rhythm, a repetitive melody and only a few chords to learn. I chose this piece because it resonates well with today's world.
