Michael David Rosenberg (born in 1984) also known as Passenger, is a folk Singer/Songwriter from England. He started writing songs at the age of 15 and left school at 17 in order to launch his musical career. However, it was only after many years of hardwork and perseverance that his career took off. In 2003, Passenger formed originally as a band made of Rosenberg (as the singer/ songwriter and guitarist), Andrew Phillips (who wrote and fronted the band with Rosenberg), Marcus O’Dair (as the bassist), Alon Cohen (as the drummer) and Richards Brinklow (as the keys player). Unfortunately, after releasing one album together, the band broke up in 2009. Rosenberg decided to keep the band name as he continued performing as a solo artist. During the next two years, the artist split his time performing and recording in-between Australia and the UK. He released two albums, played many gigs and slowly picked up a following. In 2012, Let her go came out and marked his first international major success. The single was a number one in over 20 countries. Followed by his album All the Little Things. The album demonstrated his undeniable skills in songwriting and guitar playing. He opened for Ed Sheeran and the John Butler Trio on numerous occasions. In 2014, Passenger released his album Whispers which included singles Heart’s on Fire and Scare Away the Dark. In 2016, the artist released his album Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea.
